So here at my house we are currently getting sleet that is piling up on the grassy areas and a glaze on the driveway. There won't be much snow accumulation but the timing may be a problem for drivers tomorrow morning.
In case you haven't been watching the local weather reports, we have some snow heading our way Sunday into Monday. This will be a mix of rain and snow for southern New England ending as all snow. The precipitation will start late Sunday afternoon/early evening and not end until late Monday morning (possibly early afternoon). The first snow total maps came out this morning but there aren't too many. I should have a lot more for you after the evening news.
There is more snow in the forecast and again it is only going to be a couple of inches. The snow arrives Tuesday evening, continues over night and then changes to rain Wednesday morning. No big accumulations.

Most meteorologists have lowered the amounts of accumulating snow today so we will see even less than I posted yesterday. The snow should start in the early afternoon. Here are the latest snow total maps.
Are you staying warm? The temperatures are very cold out there. It is only 19 degrees at my house. If you don't like the cold temperatures, relief is on the way with a warm up next week. Starting Tuesday our temperatures will be back in the 40s.

We are in a stormy pattern , weather wise. There is rain coming this weekend which is not a good thing since so many communities are still flooded from the last storm. After this weekends rain there are two more systems I am keeping an eye on for some snow. One on January 16th and the next on January 19th.
Hello Everyone, I'm back again. I found a few more weather resources and I noticed some snow total maps changed a little with the higher amounts coming a little further south. If it isn't snowing at your house already, it will be soon. I hope everyone is ready. I myself am very excited about the chance for over 6 inches at my house.

The snow storm headed our way tomorrow has a name, Ember. Ember is expected to arrive in the late evening and continue heavy during the over night hours and then linger all day Sunday. Southeastern Massachusetts will be getting the heavy wet snow which can cause down power lines so be sure to be prepared for possible power outages.
