Hurricane season runs June 1st through November 30th. Forecasters are calling for an above average hurricane season in 2022. NOAA says "Ongoing La Niña, above-average Atlantic temperatures set the stage for busy season ahead"
Once a tropical depression is upgraded to a tropical storm, it receives a name. Here is the list of names for this year.
If anything is forecasted to hit our area I will be blogging about it.
