So much less snow

 Well the usual happened again. We got all excited as a foot of snow was forecasted and now that the storm is here we are getting a lot less.

Less Snow?

 Looks like this storm is taking a track further south. Some meteorologists are lowering their snow total maps. Here are the first few changes 

This afternoon I was in the 12-18 range and now according to this last map I’ll be lucky to get 3 inches. 

I’ll post an update tomorrow morning 

Midday update

The snow storm had moved a little south so A few snow total maps have changed with the higher amounts coming further south. 

The snow should start by 4am and be over by evening. I am sure there will be numerous school cancellations as the driving will be extremely dangerous with blizzard conditions. 

I will post again some time tonight. Probably around 9:00

Increased Snow Amounts

 Good Morning Everyone,

If you like snow, then you will love this news...The expected snow total amounts have gone up a little over night.  Look at this map from the national Weather service with a large area of 12-18 inches in the orange.

The snow should start falling around 3am and getting heavy as we get closer tot he morning commute. Driving will be tough.

Here are the headlines for what you can expect from Tuesday's snowstorm

With heavy wet snow expected and some wind, there will be power outages so make sure you are prepared for that.

Morning Update

 Here is the latest for the snowstorm coming Tuesday...

The track of the storm is always subject to change but at this time the meteorologists believe the storm will take the track that gives us the most snow. As the storm gets closer everyone will become more confident in the amounts

The storm is expected to start in the very early morning hours and continue for most of the day Tuesday.  First I have all the snow totals that I found on twitter and facebook.

Next up are all the snow total maps from the television stations. There are a few changes from the maps I posted yesterday.

I will post again tonight if the snow total maps change. If I don't post then the projected totals haven't changed and I will post again Monday morning.

 I had to post again because there are several snow total maps out this evening. Tomorrow I will post more details about the Tuesday storm with timelines and possibilities of power outages and that all important topic, will there be a snow day on Tuesday? #noschool

Tuesday Snow

 This storm is still 3 days away so there may be changes if this storm tracks further south, but as of today it looks like 6-12 inches. Here are the two snow maps that are out. 

I will post an update with more snow total maps tomorrow. Until then get outside and enjoy the warm weather. 

Spring Like temperatures

 You would never know it is February with these warm temperatures. Low 40s today and then it gets a little warmer each day. Saturday we should be in the upper 50s. I love it! Saturday will be a good day for a walk near the water.

The next chance for winter weather (snow) is next Tuesday. I will keep on eye on that and post if it amounts to anything. Get outside and enjoy the warm dry weather.
